“We were walking the Pennine Way and stopped off at Bongate House after reaching Dufton and after walking/backpacking for most of the day. We had a very friendly welcome from Ann who on arrival looked after our every need. Breakfast was ample and tasty. The property suited our needs perfectly. Thank you Ann!”

“Great location and good menu choice at reasonable price. Room dated and lacked basics, also a bit dusty. We were told we couldn't have breakfast as we hadn't ore ordered, I'm sure they could have managed something for us. Ok stay but wouldn't rush back”
