Vacations Close To Intiman Theater

Liked the shuttle, clean room and breakfast. Caught an earlier shuttle from the pier than we planned, so we arrived early. I was prepared to wait until 2pm to request an early check in, but the desk clerk said he would have a room in an hour and a half. After an hour or so, he said we could check in but it would be $30 extra for an early check in. I said I'd wait, but was there a place to leave our luggage while we went next door to eat. He said sure, he'd watch it for $10. Not knowing whether this was hotel policy or if he was just taking advantage of us I decided just to wait. After a while, he said he'd go ahead and check us in. I don't like being taken advantage of and we'll avoid this hotel in the future. I don't believe they're too worried about it though, they were plenty busy with flight crews. I just hate to see people being taken advantage of.

This is an older hotel and it's a bit tired but well appointed and clean. Everything was functioning well, the bed was quite firm but comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked well. But the room was a bit small, my view was of the a brick building and the air conditioning unit. I was on the 4th floor. The best thing about this hotel is the location. I was able to walk to Pike's Place in about 5 minutes and the Needle and Chihuly were less than a mile away. Lots of restaurants in the area. Not sure if they have any handicapped rooms but mine was definitely not. Low toilet and slippery high tub but there was a mat. All in all a pleasant stay.

The continental breakfast included sausage and scrambled eggs.

It was noisy.

Had drain flys in the room. Very outdated and did not look clean due to rusted appliances, bugs, & fixtures. We came back one day and our bathroom light wouldn’t work the front desk had to get switch a breaker for it to work again. It did for what was needed but will never stay again and they need to update their pictures.

Everything was great. Highly recommend this hotel.
