“Right in the middle of town. Walkable to everywhere you need to go. Staff were very friendly. Room was basic but had everything we needed or wanted! Kettle in the room was great for some tea. Breakfast buffet was awesome. Would def stay here again if I come back to Darlington”

“Very helpful staff, lovely room and added feature of a swimming pool and spa”

“Staff are great, rooms are lovely - there was a fan in the room but could do with air conditioning given the weather and heat we seem to be having nowadays. Otherwise, no complaints”

The rooms are spotless, beautifully appointed, and exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. The highlight has to be the dining—the food is outstanding, crafted with fresh ingredients and full of flavour, complemented by a brilliant selection of drinks. Combined with its picturesque setting and relaxed, peaceful atmosphere, it’s the ideal spot for a relaxing getaway...

“Simply an excellent place to spend great and royal vivencies in a King service!!!”

“Hicimos noche de camino a Edimburgo. La habitación era espaciosa, cómoda y limpia. El alojamiento era una casa antigua pero reformada y con encanto. El personal muy amable y nos ayudó en todo lo que pudo. No teníamos adaptador de corriente y nos prestaron uno. La comida era buena y tenian una bonita terraza para tomar cerveza”

“Great room, clean and tidy, just a bit noisy until closing time! Would stay again.”
