The best breakfast in the city. They have Supreme Grits. These are the best grits a person can eat. The cossants were delicious. The were soft, fluffy, and very tasty. The parking area needed constant attention due the arrival traffic. Overall, this is a great place stay. The front desk staff were very helpful and nice.

The room was small but adequate. Bathroom vey small. Rug on floor not vacuumed. Beds were good. Restaurant was great. Lots of variety on breakfast buffet. We also ate dinner here on two nights during our stay. Delicious entrees. Service was great. Free parking. Visiting family member in hospital, which was only a few minutes away.

Overall, the hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the amenities were excellent. Unfortunately, our stay was impacted by the comfort of the rooms. We were traveling with a baseball team and had multiple rooms booked, and everyone had the same experience with the beds being extremely firm and uncomfortable. Additionally, the rooms never seemed to cool down properly and felt warm and muggy throughout the night, making it difficult for everyone to get a good night’s sleep. While we appreciated the hospitality and overall quality of the property, a comfortable night’s rest is a priority when traveling. Because of the beds and room temperature, we unfortunately would not choose to stay here again.

I cannot give a 5-star rating. The floor lamp didn’t work The middle of the floor was clean, but the edges were not clean at all. Clearly the vacuuming was neglected for weeks The bathroom floor under the lavatory was dirty.. even a brightly colored pill was quite visible. We had to ask for hand soap twice, then had to go to the front desk for the third time to actually get some soap. The STAFF was superb. And being welcomed with warm cookies after a long drive was wonderful. Thank you!
