Vacations Close To Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment Museum

The hotel was great overall. The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. The only downside was that there was no shower gel provided, just two bars of soap. Other than that, everything was good and I had a pleasant stay.

The showers were horrible design. There is absolutely no perks with staying here. Everything is an extra cost.

The Radisson Blu was very unimpressive. The first thing we noticed about our room was there no way to hang up clothes. No hangers, wall hooks or closet in the room, used a bungy cord and wire hangers I purchased to hang up my clothes. The bathroom had two hooks and no towel racks. The cabinet door in front of the mini fridge had a broken hinge. The lobby staff were also mediocre element of the stay. Front desk staff were constantly on their phones & spent more time with their screens than hotel guests. When we left and entered the hotel there was no recognition, welcoming smiles or friendly interactions. The concierge leaned on the lectern in the lobby staring at his phone ignoring people. Other guests in the elevator laughed with us while sharing similiar experiences. The one benefit of the hotel was the location. It was on a street car line and two stops from Union Station and access to the subway. It was also convenient to get to both Rogers Center and Scotia Bank Arena. I have stayed at several hotels in Toronto and had some very enjoyable vacations. The Raddison Blu sadly was a rare disappointing stay I have had in this city. If you are seeking a hotel with little or no interaction and being ignored by hotel staff this would be a good place to stay. This hotel was far below the standard I've come to associate with Toronto. My partner and I have no motivation to recommend or stay at this hotel in the future.
