Vacations Close To The Empire Theatre

Fairmont is a really old property. I think its a beautiful historical place with great ambience and character but the hallways smell musty and the furniture is outdated. No real good views. No 24/7 food service and their breakfast items are scarce. There were staff that really try to help and accommodate your needs. We ordered room service and it was good. But overall I wouldn't classify this as a luxury stay. Amanda

A wonderful experience from start to finish!

Everything was very beautiful, convient, the staff was happy to welcome us and the breakfast was awesome.

I am a bit of a Hilton snob at times but the location being PERFECT, price being fair, and room size and recs being amazing I am so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone because this property is nothing less than spectacular!! Friendly staff, huge clean suite, and the Nespresso machine in the lounge was an amazing touch!! Thank you for a great stay, and will be back again.

Amazing Hotel and Staff. Good location, great cleaning, nice bed, good amenities and beautiful view from my bed! Definitely Toor will be us hotel in Toronto for ever!

There is no human contact. You get a code.. you go to door beside an A&W. You go up some stairs and enter the room with a second code. Its very basic, but given the price in downtown Toronto, it was a good place to crash. Clean and tidy. If you know the neighbourhood, you hear the locals all night and there are some pretty colourful characters on the street. Room was small, so one person fine, two people.. probably cramped. Not sure I would feel extremely safe if I was a single young lady.
