“Shower had a draining issue and in room fan was pretty noisy (hence we couldn't use it). Nonetheless, overall it was a decent stay.”

“スタッフさんも優しく、朝食もいただけるのでありがたかったです。”

“L@s camarer@s estupend@s. Un desayuno muy completo con servicio amable y eficiente. El hotel y los habitaciones muy acogedores con carácter muy inglés. El único problema fue el proveedor de WiFi que bloqueó mi email pero eso no es culpa del hotel.”

“Very friendly staff, evening meal and breakfast done to a high quality. Everything you need in the rooms including hairdryer”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would stay at The Crown again without hesitation, however as I am disabled there are not enough parking spaces available for disabled guests staying at the hotel. The bays at the front of the hotel (3) were, at most times occupied by non blue badge holders.”

“Really liked staying in a 356 year old hotel/pub. It was probably my favorite place on our 1 month journey in the UK. It was close to town and had very friendly staff. It was unique and I really enjoyed my stay. Would definitely come back.”

“Lovely rooms with streaming in the tv Nespresso coffee always a plus. Usual amenities, good food offer & reasonably priced. Highly recommend, lovely area with a local village store & post office which is great”

“Nice property in remote location, room was very well maintained and comfortable, only issue was road noise.”

“Stayed here for one night. Had room 7 at the top of the house. This was an excellent size and also quiet. Bathroom and shower were great. Staff were helpful, and we borrowed house umbrellas to head up the road once checked in. Breakfast the following morning was excellent. Would stay again if back in the area.”

“Everything is absolutely perfect beautiful place and fantastic staff”

“It’s always a joy to stay at The Queens. It’s comfortable, clean, has the most excellent and generous menu, but it’s their team that are the real gems in their crown.”

“best hotel in the area, very well maintained and newly renovated. will come again! food was lovely”

“We had a room at the rear of the hotel which was nice and quiet. A fan was available in the room which helped during the heatwave. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. No wardrobe but hooks on the wall and hangers for clothes which was ok as we only stayed 2 nights. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were friendly on arrival and at breakfast. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable.”

“My son loved that there was Disney plus as a bonus. However our shower didn't work and I had to ask to use the one next door. 3x a member of staff came to try it, the last time we were in bed and no it still wasn't working. No compensation of any kind was offered, not even a free dessert after we had paid for dinner. Bathroom was a bit grubby and there was just a piece of foam under the sheet and no mattress protector. Breakfast was OK but no offer of fruit, cereal or juice. Had to ask for a...

“A very quaint period public house. Our room was quite small but definitely adequate for our 2 night stay. Obviously to be expected with a quaint period public house. The bar was well stocked and plenty of room at the bar, surrounding tables and restaurant. The staff were very knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. Overall a very pleasurable stay and my wife is already planning to revisit with a friend. The 8 Bells is a perfect location to walk to the Bolney wine vineyard and neighbouring...

“La habitacion muy caliente, limpia y todo lo necesario (galletas, cafe, te)”
