“The Jug & Bottle is a really well run establishment. Attention to detail in all things they do is a joy to experience. Our room was very well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of choices and high quality. The staff were friendly and really helpful. Our evening meal could not be bettered. The menu was varied with a wide range of choices and the wine list excellent. Delicious food and wine and very good value as indeed was the cost of our two night stay....

“Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable room”

“Excellent spa facilities. Clean rooms and comfortable bed”

“Beautiful location with the stream running in front. Located in a quaint village - it was lovely and quiet! Room was lovely and very spacious and breakfast was delicious. About a 45 minute drive to Llangollen which was a lovely place to visit. Sian and the cleaner (so sorry I forgot her name!) we're extremely friendly and helpful, even gave me access to their mobile hot-spot and helped with local attraction advice. “Excelente hotel. Es un castillo completamente remodelado. Muy buen servicio. Recomiendo disfrutar del parque y de la cena.”

“Welcoming staff, large family room, comfortable bed, breakfast delicious. Stairs quite steep (i should have booked a room on lower floor) i didnt have any issue but felt if i had they would de addressed and dealt with effectively. Thank you for a wonderful stay over.”

“Really pleasant and helpful staff member checked us in and served us in the bar, a credit to the establishment. The room itself was in need of some maintenance and had some odd features (eg cups in the room were too small for the portions dispensed by the hot water boiler..) but was clean and comfortable enough for our one night stay”
