“Nicely decorated. Very clean. Well positioned. Excellent breakfast.”

“The staff were not the most helpful. We were attending the wedding of my brother in law and wanted early access to our room to get ready. They said they would 'try'. It was 1.55pm when we were given access - the checkout time was 11.00am and the wedding was due to start at 3.15pm. They should have prioritised our room but I felt they were just being awkward. The room was ok for the price. The breakfast was good, but they still tried to charge us for it even though we'd paid for it the night...

“Really clean room. Boutique decor.”

“Lovely overnight stay. Nice breakfast. Bathroom a little dark with having black floor and walls but clean. Nothing we didn't like.”

“Liked all. Continental breakfast but loads to choose from.”

“Mo was great, sorted any issues and was very welcoming and friendly. Would stay again.”

“Very helpful staff and so friendly. Found us a room with aircon -much appreciated during the heatwave. Room had everything you needed. Breakfast was reasonably priced and great.”

“Big room with only one radiator. Room was cold on entry . Put heating on full and room was warm in about 2 hours . 2 single beds pushed into make a double . Spend some money and get a double mattress. Bathroom very adequate and functional. Plenty of parking . Not a bad stay .”

“Very kind helpful staff, excellent amenities, tidy and welcoming. Highly recommended for couples or solo travellers.”

“The sheperds hut was very clean and situated in a lovely setting the staff were friendly and helpful”

“The hut was amazing & laid our really well. Unfortunately the cleanliness was not up to my standards. There was a squished fly on the coffee table & it required dusting considerably. The bathroom was clean though. We didn't see a member of staff the whole time we were there (2 days) & to contact anyone was difficult too. The hot tub was very nice, but for the money paid I would expect a daily refill of wood. We had to buy quite a bit more to use it. Lastly, they have a carpark for all cars....
