“Position of the property was excellent just opposite the park .room was good but could have done with a bit of an upgrade .We noticed a slit in the curtain and the sink plug wouldnt come back up if you pressed it down .Minor things but could easily be put right .Breakfast was good if you wanted a cooked breakfast but continental not alot of choice.We were able to park which made things better.Lovely stay enjoyed the live music but there could have been more .Staff very polite and helpful. “This is a lovely hotel, we found the parking a little awkward and the food and drink wasn’t quite up to standard but nice enough. Beautiful rooms and bathrooms and staff nice and friendly. Did not like the wine here though :(”

“Bed was lovely and comfortable. Room was very nice. Struggling to get in and out of the shower. Staff on the whole were lovely but felt there was an atmosphere of discontentment amongst staff. Food expensive with service charge added without giving us the opportunity to say no. Rats running around the skip outside. Needs a general paint job outside. “We stayed here for one night on our way to Minehead and it was one of the most disappointing hotel stays we’ve had. We booked this hotel specifically because it advertised air-conditioned rooms. On arrival, we were greeted by a sign saying the hotel was under refurbishment and there was no air conditioning. This was never mentioned when we booked.
