“Very nice and excellent breakfast but doesn’t really live up to the photos”

“Very dated rooms & uncomfortable beds no air conditioning or fan. Breakfast only available 8.30 -9 am even though the information card in the room states 8.30-9.30, was told this is only at weekends? So why doesn’t information card state this? Two of us went for breakfast after 9 and was refused. Chef was only able to make a bacon sandwich. Coffee was thick and gloopy and undrinkable . “My experience at this hotel was disappointing. I chose it for one specific reason: the pool and spa, so I could enjoy some time with my 3-year-old son. “This is a lovely little pub the grounds are well kept but unfortunately our bathroom was extremely damp and the smell was unbearable, we called reception and they came and sprayed in there but there was definitely an underlying issue going on as there was a big damp patch on the ceiling, there was also lots of cobwebs in the bedroom, the shower had very little power, the good points are the carpet was lovely and soft, the tv had a good signal, there was a mini fridge and tea & coffee making...
