“Great location for attempting The Three Peaks Challenge (hiking possible straight from the premises’ car park). Really friendly staff, attentive and very helpful. Cheap and cheerful accommodation - don’t forget that the price includes continental breakfast, which is more than generous - so a real bargain. “We had a nice stay here. The only bug bear was that there was not much fruit at breakfast. I do not eat fry ups in the morning. The only fruit was apples. Maybe a dish of mixed fruit or bananas would have been nice. The staff were really pleasant and the hotel itself was fine for our 2-day stay. The bedroom could have been a little bit more updated, paint off in most places, the en-suite was old fashioned, could be done up more modern really.”
