The Mansion is an incredible experience and historically significant property, having survived the 1900 hurricane in Galveston. The property has been lovingly preserved and the staff were exceptional. On arrival we were met by Aaron who took great care and time to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The Kona Hawaiian coffee is sublime and breakfast was a great conclusion to our stay. Highly recommended.

Great spot. Excellent hosts. The bedroom was very nice (we had the balcony) and the downstairs space was very nice too. Afternoon beer and wine in the house bar a plus and a fantastic home cooked custom breakfast. Definitely recommend the Mansion!

Everything was just perfect. Breakfast was very good, the social hour was very nice and we got to meet other guests. The room was spacious. Bathtub/shower wasn't so comfortable but we stayed just 1 night before the cruise so it wasn’t so bad.

Aaron and Jenny were outstanding hosts. Fun, kind and helpful. The house has so much history and they were more than happy to share that with us. The house is old, so of course they’re gonna be some quirks. But it was comfortable, clean and functional. Not to mention, romantic and spooky all at the same time! We would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Beautifully restored/maintained 1800's property with all the niceties. We stayed here as a stopover during travel before boarding our cruise out of the Port of Galveston near by. The staff made us feel welcome, was very accommodating of our arrival delay and took the time to make sure we knew where all the comforts were and that we were well settled. Breakfast was amazing and fresh. We will definitely stay here anytime we visit Galveston!

Overall, we had a good stay. The hotel was very cute and unique—it felt like staying in a large historic house that had been converted into a hotel, which gave it a lot of character. Everything was clean, and we had no major issues. The only downside was that our room was on one of the upper floors, and there was no elevator. Carrying luggage up several flights of stairs was quite difficult. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
