The rooms are clean and spacious. The parking garage is away from the hotel. So when you check in ensure to take down your stuff with you or else you have to drag your beach stuff and luggage from 1/2 a block away. The staff was nice and hotel had nice beach views.

If you want to stay near the pier and good restaurants this is the place to stay. Room 407 had an amazing view of the pier. Friendly staff. Private entrance to The Spot, which is one of our go to places to eat. Has a small play area for the kids. Good pool for the kids too. Doesn't have any shade on the pool though. Cons: not only do you have to pay for parking, the parking garage is actually behind the building across a street. I mean its helpful that its in a garage to block out the TX heat. But when you have littles, that can definitely be an adventure in the TX heat lol Other Con, you can hear any loud street racers or early morning food truck deliveries to the restaurants. Not a deal breaker from me but worth noting.
