“The check-in process was smooth, the host was very welcoming - the features of the room and service were explained in full. The room looked and smelt beautifully clean. All the amenities we could have wanted were provided. Great shower, complementary toiletries and a super comfy bed with top quality linen! Check out was hassle free. The rooms are above a pub and the courtyard below can get quite lively but it didn't disturb us too much. The only thing I would like to see is a private courtyard...

“The whole site is very quiet, which I really loved. It feels safe and is perfect for families. The caravan was clean and a good size for a family of four. The extractor fan wasn ’t working, but we still managed fine and could get rid of the cooking smells (while cooking) by airing the caravan. My only criticism would be the beach. “The room (shepherds hut) was great just the right size for two of us and the hot tub was huge. We didn’t need to ask for anything but saw the staff at the other huts and lodges cleaning etc, always very chatty when we saw them. Location was a little bit difficult to find but once there we were fine. Very close to Elan Valley and we had a view of one of the dams from out hut which was beautiful. All in all we had a great stay.”

“Delightful shepherd’s hut set in the mid-Wales countryside. Well equipped and maintained and very comfortable, it was just right for our long weekend visiting friends in the area. The bed was comfortable and the small kitchen and shower room met our needs. We benefitted from excellent weather so were able to take full advantage of the terrace which overlooked a field of buttercups and the nearby hills.”
