The elevator was out completely out for 1-2 days and only one working for 2 days so we had to walk up 7 flights.
The lobby had bucket for leaking roof.
The room was so humid with condensation on the ceiling so that the floor and our clothing always felt damp- even when we kept the door to the balcony closed and air conditioning on. I did not like the plastic covered couch, but now I know why.
The maid service did not replace our towels with clean ones and did not make up our bed.
The view from the room was lovely though

My wife and I spent a wonderful week at the Vendue. The hotel is located in the French Quarter surrounded by plenty of restaurants and historical activities. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return.
