“The hotel is extremely well situated right on the front and close to the pier. It is currently undergoing some much-needed maintenance, leading to some unwelcome building noise and obstructions. There were a number of issues with our room, including a shower which would not drain properly, and dodgy wifi, leading also to problems with the TV. “Reception staff excellent. Breakfast staff good but overstretched. Room 122 , tiny, dark, too hot but a fan provided. The worst we have stayed in Breakfast diabolical. All hot food had been cooked probably 2 hours before. Eggs hard and shrivelled. We have stayed so many times but doubt we will return. So sorry.”
