“The Kiln Hotel in Wakefield has the look and feel of a run down American Motel that has been abandoned several decades ago. Desperately in need of refurbishment it appears that the new owners have not made any improvements since taking over from Campanile Hotels. The room I stayed in for 1 night looked as if it had not been decorated for 20 years and still had a lingering odour of Cigarette smoke. “We loved the upgrade room and our two small dogs could stay too. Staff were tremendous polite, friendly and very professional and engaging. The food was amazing and the room was perfect couldn’t possibly fault a thing. The grounds and outdoor seating were ideal for the beautiful weather we had too. Highly recommend this as a great place to eat or stay. Well done to all staff.”

“I ve called the reception two times before arrival and both of the receptionist were so professional and kind. The gentleman (I think night team) that check us in was very polite friendly and efficient fast. The hotel looks old but lovely in the same times and room is very big and spacious. We only stay one night but of course the room could have more maintenancebut for us is not been a problem while we were only there for one night.”
