“Really really good stay in such a characterful property . Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and really hospitable staff team. Brilliant breakfast cooked to order and gluten free was no problem at all. Enjoyed evening bar food alongside chatting with the team; friendly too. Recommend”

“The room was lovely although it had roof lights rather than windows which was a shame as the location of the building is breathtaking. The views from the building location are truely stunning, especially as we were there over a spring "heatwave" and it was so beautiful. Because of that, plenty of people were sitting at the fantastic outdoor seating area overlooking the valley. The dinners were excellent which is obviously the other reason it is such a popular pub. “We were in the twin room, which has the longest bath that I’ve had the pleasure of reclining in for a long time! The rest of the room was also faultless and the dinner / breakfast were both excellent. It looked like they were a member of staff down in the bar and it was a bust summer’s evening but they coped ok and the food service was very efficient. We will happily stay there again.”
