“Our second stay at Moss Cottage and this time we were welcomed by Bill, Peter’s colleague (hello Peter!). This is a very homely place and the welcome is equally warm. The rooms are very clean with good sized en-suite bathrooms. Bill prepares home cooked breakfast at a time agreed so you know it isn’t food that’s been left on a hot plate for an hour beforehand!! “On arriving the property was very difficult to find and when l did find it my room was occupied by someone else. I was given the room next-door which was dark and unwelcoming. Neither the room or the surroundings were as advertised, photos were totally misleading. I was absolutely discussed by the level of cleanliness and left immediately finding myself having to find somewhere else to stay at 8.30 in the evening and £364 out of pocket. Will not be using Expedia ever again!!”

“Delightful accommodation in a beautiful village pub. As a family of three, we stayed in the Superior Suite, Room 4. Our window view was a charming old church. Room/linen was spotless, towels were hotel quality, powerful shower, comfy beds, amazing cooked breakfast and kind hosts. No pub noise and we stayed on a Fri and Sat night. It's very quiet. Safe car parking right outside too. Dog friendly. Great location if visiting Cotswolds/Diddly Squat and The Farmer's Dog. Wish we could have stayed...

“This older home was well maintained and comfy. It was close to the centre of Banbury and down the hill to Banbury Cross and the statue of the lady on the horse. Breakfast is included and there is a wide range of cold or hot meal options; there is a kettle in the room with tea bag’s and coffee packs with sugar and UHT milk made it easy to have a hot drink in your room early morning or in the evening. “We adored our stay and wish we had more time to spend here. What a wonderful country setting in a traditional B &B. Beautiful chapel views from our room which also overlooked a sweet field with sheep. We were welcomed at the door and bid goodbye personally. The cooked to order breakfast was wonderful and thoughtfully prepared and laid out. We would love to return if we are lucky enough to do so. True gem!!! Suzie and Wes from Oregon.”
