“Photos give a very different impression to the reality. Building is very tired and was locked when we arrived early afternoon. Room was extremely small, with a very tiny en-suite. No curtains only blinds on the window meant that we were woken early by the early morning sun. Property is on a very busy, noisy road.”

“The room was excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was beautiful and the breakfast was one of the best full English we’ve had - such high quality produce. The only down side was the room wasn’t en suite, we had a shared bathroom and the bar closed at 10 on Thursdays. Otherwise it would have been perfect.”

“Absolutely lovely stay very homely, comfy, clean lovely b and b , host Alan very knowledgable of local area, and a great cook ! We had a great nights sleep in a comfy bed , no problem parking which was a relief and will definitely return again”

“Our second stay at Moss Cottage and this time we were welcomed by Bill, Peter’s colleague (hello Peter!).
This is a very homely place and the welcome is equally warm. The rooms are very clean with good sized en-suite bathrooms. Bill prepares home cooked breakfast at a time agreed so you know it isn’t food that’s been left on a hot plate for an hour beforehand!! Delicious, and freshly brewed coffee too. There is also off road car parking.

“A cracker of a Inn with rooms plus a Latin American restaurant.
We spent two nights here and I'd certainty rate it 10/10.
The owner was very personable as were all staff and special mention to the young waitress at breakfast who was spot on 👍
Our room.(No 9) was spacious and had everything you'd expect.
Full English Breakfast was cooked well and delicious, plus cereals , yoghurt , orange juice etc etc.
