“2nd visit here and now our last. Arrived early and although the room wasn’t ready we were told our number. We returned later and went to the room after collecting the key. It was dinner time so we went down to get a meal and was told that food was t served after 7.30 , although the information in the room said we could get room service until 9pm. “Room needed refurbishment. Bathroom was tired looking & air con didnt work very well/noisy. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast had normal yoghurt only & no other choices. Bar was very expensive & no air con so was very warm/uncomfortable.”

“We were visiting for a gig at Piece Hall and are so glad we chose to stay at this absolutely wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Halifax. From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, polite and helpful and this continued for the duration of our stay. As it was such a nice day, we sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed drinks and food from the bar menu before heading into town for our concert. . Breakfast (extra) was also very good indeed. It’s not the cheapest hotel, and not the most fancy...
