“Firstly, this is a beautiful building. It has stunning original features including a William Morris designed stained window at the top of the stairs. The guy I spoke to was very nice too. That’s where the good stuff ends really. Room was cold and damp and I could smell it on my clothes when I left. Not very clean either. It was all just a bit of an odd experience. “Stayed for 3 nights, no room cleaning service. I check in late and there’s no one at reception. Had to wait and when staff finally came, they are rude.”

“Generally a value-for-money hotel. While the public areas were immaculately maintained, the room we were given could benefit from a makeover. For example,the small seating unit was broken at its l-shape join. Also, an ironing board was provided, but no iron. The buffet breakfast was plentiful, though a bit reminiscent of a roadside cafe ie not in-keeping with the hotel's image - though reasonable considering the price”

“I had a terrible experience. I slept for few hours and when I woke up I was surrounded by an army of bed bugs. My body and face is still swollen from Friday night. This is terrible!”
