Eagle Head Vacations

I booked a room for two nights. To my horror, when I checked in at night, I found that the entire room was illuminated by just one small table lamp. After I requested additional lighting, the staff brought another tiny lamp. The situation became rather amusing when the staff member herself had to use her mobile phone flashlight to locate the power outlet for the second lamp. Instead of proper air conditioning, the room had a small cooler that was completely ineffective. Overall, the room was poorly equipped and not what I expected for the price I paid. The breakfast was okay, considering the amount charged.

The free breakfast was excellent, there was also a lovely Nespresso bar. There had a mini Nespresso in each room with a variety of pods. The bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean and up to date. The shampoo and conditioner were plentiful and good quality. The staff was very friendly

It was ok, good stop for one night

The location of the hotel was excellent. So many of the city’s top highlights were well within walking distance. It was only a quick two-block stroll to the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, and just a couple of blocks uphill to the Citadel. We enjoyed eating at the Cannery on-site, which served good food throughout our stay. The pool was a total hit, and our daughter loved spending time in it. Overall, it made for a fantastic, comfortable base for exploring Halifax!
