“The room was fine, but the hotel was basically unmanned. We had to speak to the staff via an intercom system which they were able to let us in to the lobby. We travelled a fair bit that day and looked forward to a good meal, but the premises looked like a ghost town. No staff, doors opened randomly to different rooms other than suites, and the restaurant and bar were permanently closed. “Enjoyed our stay, we were on the top floor, but no lifts. Anyone with mobility issues might struggle. There is a stair lift to first floor that needs hotel staff in attendance. Room was spacious, bed very comfortable and facilities fine, We elected to have "no clean" service, (the hotel's policy for saving water) but we did expect the inside of the windows to have been cleaned, the views were obscured because of this.
