“Overall my room was nice. However at check in I was asked to provide a card for pre-authorisation. I’ve been asked many times before but on this occasion $300 was taken from my account immediately. On checking out I was told this will take between 5-10 days to be returned to me. On a holiday budget this wasn’t ideal. Also breakfast each day was always the same. No one made any special effort to offer tea or coffee or to make anything different at all.

“After staying 10 days and having vip status for late checkout at 12pm. I was refused 12:30 saying I have to pay huge rate for 30 minutes. This is 4 or 5th stay also. At 12:05 get call from hotel saying late. They lied to me saying fully booked and needed service room. I hurried back but they locked me out of room having go down and get key and stressful argument. Later I check their own website and several hotels sites and all types of rooms were available. Was the 30 minutes worth it”

“This hotel is a great place if you are visiting kids at UWA or recovering from treatment at the hospitals. But it is not a resort for 1st time travellers. We enjoyed running along the Swan River every morning. Best to have a rental car.”
