“First time we have stayed here. Lovely, clean room and easy to find as we have eaten a few times in Haystacks which is underneath and has amazing food ❤️ lush bed and slept really well and blackout curtains helped with this 😀Shower was amazing. A hidden gem! We will be back 😍”

“buena ubicación y desayuno, pero la presión del agua fatal, casi no te podías duchar nos estábamos en la planta 4 y apenas salia agua caliente. El parking es en la calle y sólo hasta las 8:00am, luego te tienes que buscar la vida y quitar el coche de la calle.”

“We had a fantastic stay at the butchers arms. They were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with another hotel and Andrew and his team couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely place to stay. Very clean place. Bed was super comfy had a fantastic nights sleep. We will definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you Andrew and all the team for looking after us. 😊😊”

“The staff are great but according to the locals OYO have ruined the place and dont care. Which is a shame as the staff all try so hard without support.”

“Really lovely stay for 3 nights. Gorgeous room and bathroom, great friendly staff and good food. Very good value. Train station right across the road. Would definitely stay again.”

“The location is remote, peaceful and lovely. It's an old building and full of character with huge, comfortable rooms. All the staff were helpful. Breakfasts were a little limited, but adequate. We didn't enjoy the one dinner we had, but it was good value. Overall I'd recommend this hotel for its excellent value accommodation and location.”

“Courteous staff Attractive setting”

“Beautiful room and a great location”

“Superbly hosted by Jen and Howard. If your heading to Brecon look no further! With views of the Beacons second to none.”

“The hotel was dated and run down. The room had marks all over wall and had a strong odour of damp. There were limited staff and the older lady at breakfast was really rude and huffed and puffed. The cups were disgusting all stained. Breakfast items kept running out.”

“We had a lovely stay. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And was in a fab location for what we needed.”

“Had a really enjoyable stay here! The staff were friendly, welcoming and more than happy to help with any questions or issues we had. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a hiking trip, as it's ideally located for exploring nearby walking routes, including Pen y Fan. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for my one-night stay. Overall, a great experience and I would happily stay here again.”

“Excellent property and lovely stay. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. Hot tub was immaculate and we were even lucky enough to have some nice weather too! ”
