“The Railway Inn is a small hotel, over a pub that closes reasonably early and literally next to the train lines. The barkeep is also the hotel staff and the breakfast cook. She is terrific and lively. My room was on the second floor - spacious with two excellent twin beds, comfortable bedding and kettle, cookies, etc. They would like entry by 22.00 which I did not see in the ad, so I arrived later and she directed me to reach my room, which she had left open. “A great place to take a break along the way, enjoy the restaurant and its great staff, and really close to the city of Oxford.”

“Really convenient for what I needed courtyard style room straight onto the car park. Dog friendly with some great walks around the area. Super easy check-in key was in the door. Appreciated the fruit teas and coffees in the morning. We’ll stay again if I need to be in that area.”

“Great menu - dinner and breakfast excellent- room very clean and well equipped- would definitely recommend”

“Historic building, very well located. The room was cozy and with a beautifull view to the river”

“Habitación preciosa y grande. Las habitaciones se encuentran en la parte de atrás de un precioso pub inglés. El servicio es de 10.”

El pub del hotel es encantador, y el patio, delicioso para comer o tomar algo cuando hace buen tiempo.”

“Had a nice quiet night.. breakfast was awesome with great coffee… highly recommended”

“Absolutely fantastic stay in a lovely cosy pub. Staff could not have been more helpful. The room we stayed in was amazing add to this the fantastic food and atmosphere and it all adds up to a memorable stay. We will be back again.”

“We recently stayed at Longs Inn in Woburn for one night and, unfortunately, were quite disappointed. The property is in need of some updating and, overall, we found it looked tired, outdated and rather scruffy. Our bedroom had clearly been dusted and hoovered, and the bed itself was comfortable, but the furniture was very old and the room generally felt like it needed some investment. The bathroom was particularly disappointing, with black mould around the edges of the shower. The bedroom...
