“Overall, I had a pleasant one night stay at the Walnut Tree Hotel. The room was quite basic and a little dated, but it had the essentials, including a double bed, tea and coffee-making facilities, and towels. “The place is beautiful with furniture and decor to reflect older time periods. The bedding smelt fresh. The TV worked perfectly in a little cupboard. It had a very homely feeling. The room was a nice size. The shower lip had some mould on it and the room smelt very musty when we initially went in. I would recommend opening some windows during the day to air it out - it was fine once the windows were open. Staff were really helpful. The room was nice and cool, despite the warm weather.”
