“Our room was well maintained and we like staying in unique, historic properties. A bath in the nook in front of the window seemed a little strange. We thought a sofa with a coffee table would be a more relaxing option after a day of sightseeing. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The state of the beer garden is a shame. It looked really run down albeit unique with a throne at one of the tables. If you struggle with mobility, the car park is between 5 - 10 mins walk away. Not a...

“Perfect for a overnight stop on our way down to Penzance, Roof was excellent as was the bed . A little noise from the busy main road but certainly not a problem. We would definitely stay here again and also dog friendly. Perfect!”

“I had a lovely stay and nothing was too much bother for Sue. Lots of choice for breakfast. I would happily stay here again. Even had a scarecrow trail whilst I was there with an amazing entry at the guesthouse.”

“Lots of parking at the rear of the pub. Food was amazing & choice of drinks. Our room was lovely. Good size, bed was amazing and en-suite with bath. The inn had a lot of character. Very quiet village so we spent the evening in the pub with other couples staying at the Inn.”

“Such a peaceful location and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The outdoor hot tub, the friendly doggy & the ducks & geese were wonderful too.”

“Excellent place to stay! We traveled from America and stayed for 11 nights. It is a very beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Excellent!”

The room was exceptionally well kept and clean with lovely finishes. We had a balcony looking out over lush gardens and we could hear the river flowing which was beautiful. We had dinner and breakfast both exceptionally and good value. The lounge area was lovely and great place to chill. For an old mill it looks so well kept and...

“El hotel se encuentra en una ubicación privilegiada dentro de Exeter, a 5min andando tanto del centro como del muelle ("quay"). El edificio, un antiguo hospital, es realmente bonito por fuera y muy cuidado por dentro. El personal muy agradable, y el desayuno increíble, con servicio de cocina aparte del buffet. Como pega, el tamaño de las habitaciones "individuales", verdaderamente pequeñas, aunque acogedoras.”

“Lovely rooms, central for trains and city centre, but quiet.”

“Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Will stay again when down there next.”

“Staff were very kind and considerate during the stay. Unfortunately, the rooms leaked a lot of sound. We are aware we’d likely hear the road during our stay due to proximity, but we hadn’t considered we might hear every move and sound from the surrounding rooms. Due to the design of the building, the five rooms attached to ours could be heard. This was e”
