This hotel is right on the Ohio River and within walking distance of the purple people walking bridge, which is neat. Also, there’s several restaurants right behind the hotel. We loved our quick stay here! Breakfast was good and the gym was the perfect size.

Clean and located in Newport district, which is fantastic. Try the Mexican place, Cancun. Also, there’s a bus stop right out front that goes to Great American ballpark for Reds games every 15 mins.

Front desk lady was rude when I arrived, the room wasn’t ready so I had to come back in an hour. When I came back the small lobby was packed and the 2 front desk employees took forever to check people in. The lobby isn’t welcoming and the building is older. The floor I was on smelled strongly of cleaner. The room itself was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. I would not stay here again.

Good location, we walked to the Reds ballpark but there was also a cheap shuttle option right outside the hotel. Plenty of food and shopping options nearby. All staff was very friendly. Breakfast was fine. Our room had a couple minor maintenance issues we didn't bring up until checkout but overall recommend for a budget friendly option!

The line for check in took at least 30 minutes to get through. Then we were given the wrong room number and had to come back and wait in line again. The elevators were very slow. The room was very nice, and everything was clean. There was a decent amount of choice for breakfast. The parking lot was full, so we had to park in the Starbucks lot over from the hotel.

The only complaint I have about this property is the elevator and its not even really a complaint as much as it is a suggestion. The elevator is very old or needs to be serviced. It takes way too long. Other than that, the rooms are gorgeous and very clean, its right next to the water and restaurants and the staff was very friendly!

The front desk staff was as accommodating as possible. However, our check in was over an hour and half later than what it should have been. The hallways were pretty noisy from kids/family’s going in and out of rooms and running through the halls. Our room was very nice and clean!

The lighting was great in the bathroom but not so great in the rest of the room. One reading light did not work as well as the the pole light. There was a piece of metal stuck in the electrical outlet in the bathroom. The breakfast was adequate, but I expected more. The only pastry was a muffin. I did like that the air conditioner noise was not annoying.

The great part, the location. Easy walk to a few places to eat, no issues there. Kroger the grocery, is about 6 blocks away, again, easy walk. The room was NOT as ready as it should have been, a huge disappointment. I had to call to have them come vacuum since there were toenail clippings visible on the floor as well as other random items. The clock - ONLY set it if you have a degree in engineering!! The work table/desk, needs to be taken out of the room to have the glue removed and then refinished, put back. Why have it there when it truly looks like crap!? For the amount that was paid for my 1 night stay, I definitely expected better!
