“Overall very average. I didn’t get the room I booked. No one was around to sort anything out.”

“They have ac on the rooms where you can change the temperatures. The restaurants around are also great and if you need to use transportation I recommend using A1 Taxi for budget transportation. Overall the workers are nice and if you ever need anything they will help with open arms!”

For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)”

“Very comfortable large room in the garden of the pub. Oak beams, beautiful flowers outside the window and a very comfortable bed. The continental breakfast was eaten in the room. Unfortunately although the milk & fruit juice in the fridge were ok I am coeliac so the cereals and croissant were not suitable. When I told the young lady behind the bar she immediately went to a local shop and came back with a box of GF cereals and a GF loaf. Excellent service. Maybe a toaster in the room would be...

“3 of us booked single rooms for a stay while seeing Iron Maiden at Knebworth. Didn't want to drive from Sheffield and back the same day as the show. We had left it late to book rooms and this was the lowest priced place anywhere within an hour's drive of the gig. Evening meal was excellent, with lots of choices and drinks well priced (actually lower priced than our local pub). Breakfast also good quality and well priced. Staff very helpful.
