The location was great. I was surrounded by all the attractions I had in my itinerary. One of the desk clerks was very informative property amenities surrounding attractions. All the staff was friendly and courteous. Room was so clean and maintained it looked like it had recently been renovated I would absolutely stay here again and would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The front desk was fantastic, but the room was sub par. Garbage on deck, lights burnt out in bathroom. The overall is starting to show its age with the price a bit much for what it was advertised as. Again the staff was great and super helpful when issues were brought to light.

6/10 Okay

Disappointing for a Marriott-branded hotel. Bed was comfortable and clean, but room was a bit worn (door to refrigerator cabinet off hinges) and needed a deep-cleaning (dirt in corners of bathroom floor, urine spots on floor near toilet). At both check-in and checkout, staff were understandably busy on computers but didn't even acknowledge my presence for some time. No microwave in room is acceptable when there's a restaurant in the hotel, but there's only a Starbucks with limited hours and you're out of luck at dinner time. Even motels offer free breakfasts and brewed coffee these days, so having to buy the same at Starbucks in the morning was disappointing. Overall impact is of a decent motel - nothing special at all.

While the front desk staff were very friendly and professional that was the end of anything good I can say about this property. The couch was completely ripped and stained, the other furniture was rather worn. There were stains on the ceiling, layers of dust on the legs of the furniture and the sink was very slow draining. The carpet, I am having trouble figuring out how to describe…it felt damp and very sticky. The sliding patio door, which was stuck on the track so we were unable to open this BUT it did not seal well enough to keep the marijuana smoke from wafting into our room from the sidewalk.

We had a good stay at the Courtyard in Westlake, OH. The staff were very friendly including the staff cleaning rooms that we ran into. No issues checking in or out. Some changes that would be appreciated are better pillows. The mattress is firm which I liked but my husband did not- i think that's more of a personal preference. The smoke alarm in our room had this little light that kept flashing so the room would be pitch black and the light would flash every 2 minutes. That was a little annoying until you fell asleep. Some extra care is needed for things like light fixture by the bed that had its cover kind of falling off and the air con could use a clean. Breakfast options were excellent and the morning staff was lovely. Pool was nice to use and open til 11pm which was fun. I would stay here again but maybe bring my own pillow next time.

It was a fantastic visit. The property is in a nice location in the middle of everything we wanted to do, but not so hectic that we struggled to find parking or had to fight traffic to get there. Staff was extremely pleasant and greeted us on every passing. The layout of the rooms was also great. We traveled with an 11 year old who loved the modern shaped pull out sofa.
