Lodges en Cholmondley

“Beyond disappointing. We previously stayed initially for one night when travelling for business and the stay was so exemplary we booked for my birthday and for four nights - two at The Swan and two at The Lion in Malpas. We booked again an executive room but what a very different experience from Room 10! Initially shown to room 16 which was freezing cold in the room and bathroom. The room itself was so much smaller than room 10 and not what we would consider an executive room in comparison. The...

“Amazing and super friendly staff”

“FANTASTO para mi nessisito. In English, I tend to look for imperfections, but I could not find a fault in my 3days stay. The setting is wonderful and the staff were ALL happy and helpful.”

“Lovely setting, with a variety of ways to stay.”

“Set in the quiet countryside, access is down a private drive leading to a secure carpark in front of the main building. The staff were very welcoming and the food served was very nice. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed our weekend”

“great ground floor rooms for people disabled or with dogs”

“Clean room, quaint structure, excellent cuisine and extremely helpful staff. Within walking distance of city Centre and the Racecourse. Highly recommend!”

“There was an issue at check in regarding our family room whereby the expedia booking info hadn't pulled through correctly to the hotel. I would recommend emailing the hotel after booking to reconfirm everything. The family room was a decent size, although towels were stained and the free mini's were half used. The pool facilities were lovely. The pool was a little chilly, but jacuzzi very nice and warm.”

“Very friendly staff. Great location. Plenty of parking. Lovely sitting area outside. Nice restaurant and bar. Highly recommend. Very pretty hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer.”

“Suitable for a short stay but not long as space is very limited in the family room. The spare bed was a sofa bed which was very springy and you could feel the springs. Tv was problematic and didnt work. Other than the negatives mentioned- the main bed was comfy and the bathroom was in good condition.”
