Good facilities and really good size room. There were no spare pillows in the room (I don't want to have to ask), no toilet brush in the rest room which is fine if maid service makes a good job of cleaning the toilet; which they didn't. Beginning of mould in shower could have done with a deep clean in bathroom.No air conditioning in rooms really isn't good enough in this day and age. Also used for corporate clients/company retreats/training and they seemed a bit rowdy, need to actively manage this.

This was a last minute overnight stop. Bar meal was fine and breakfast was the usual buffet style which was regularly replenished. All staff were friendly and courteous. Plenty of parking. Finding the room and navigating around the old building can be a bit of maze. Room was, clean and well equipped with a refreshing shower in the morning.

This hotel is ok, but the restaurant is appalling. Severe lack of staff and attention to diners, we watched two couples up and leave after being sat with no service for almost 45minutes. The food is vastly overpriced versus quality combined with the lack of staff attention, we were only offered a drinks order once and provided with one small jug of table water. Spa facilities are ok, sauna is tiny but ok, pool area is nice

I’ve stayed here twice and the reviews would be the same. Lovely building, nice spacious rooms with comfy bed, friendly staff, good amenities. The reasons that stop this hotel getting an excellent rating are: Each time I sat in the outside terrace area most tables were full of dirty dishes and glasses. There are not enough signs around the hotel to guide you. I went to wrong room to eat dinner and breakfast. I opened a store cupboard as it was next to the corridor entry door. The food at dinner took too long to arrive and needs some help with presentation. I ordered the fish cake that looked and tasted just like a supermarket option. It was overpriced.
