“The views are excellent- Staff very welcoming and friendly. Rooms very comfortable but warning of some sloping ceilings! Amenities very good - good value for money. Breakfast very good. Good choice menu in the evening but disappointed that apple and blackberry pie not available for 4 nights of our stay! Dog friendly - which is great for dog owners but personally - I wasnt so happy re a couple with 2 big dogs being allowed into the dining room in the evening.”

“Great stay! Could t fault the accommodation at all! 5 min drive from zip world, host left some extras for us, tea coffee sugar milk bottle of bubbly and some chocolates and shortbread! Excellent touch! Some nice walks nearby weather your a novice or a professional hiker something for everyone! Will definitely stay again! I’d recommend bringing some shopping with you, as the nearest shop is around a 30 minute walk away, however if you don’t mind driving it’s only 5/10 mins down the road to the...

“Great location, easy self check in. The whole place was clean and in good condition. Simple self service breakfast with good coffee. If there was one word of warning... if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. Someone in the next room was an impressive snorer and I didn't have any!”

“Plenty of equipment i.e cot +other items and fixings for stair gate”

“It was amazing, cozy and clean. Good to have driveway for parking and near to supermarkets, pharmacy.”

“Great little cottage. Nice and clean and great location. About 6 minutes from zip world. Had everything we needed and would stay again”

“Lovely house, clean and tidy throughout. Everything we needed was there. Beds were a bit hard ( personal preference) first night it took a long time for heating to warm house but the gas fire made it lovely and cosy. No sky tv.”

“Central location for maqny destinations”

She also took our breakfast order on the phone. The next morning, all was well, but we saw no one at checkout, which was odd. There is no reception, no entry desk, and there was no one around. We found out later that we had to pay upon arrival (thought Expedia payment had been made), so we had to pay over the phone. Again, not a...

“Great room, friendly staff and an amazing breakfast. 100% would stay again”

“Very hospitable staff. Delicious food. Very comfortable room; good value for money and perfect for a short break. I would definitely come back.”

“Wonderful stay! Accommodation was very clean, well equipped and lovely and warm after a day walking in the rain! Food was great and staff very attentive. Wonderful views, very peaceful and the cabana was a bit different which the kids loved especially going up the ladder to bed.”
