“Great family friendly accommodation and pub. We felt truly welcomed with our little one! We will return when in the area. ”

“Great staff, lovely environment and super place to stay.”

“Lovely clean large room. Great tv with a superb picture. Plenty of tea / coffee and biscuits welcome tray. We were surprised how quiet our sleep was, the pub below was busy but no sound from it. The decoration of the whole venue is incredible with so much to look at. There is a lot of car spaces but the area is very busy so it’s a bit of a search to find one.”

“We really liked everything about the Ollerod. Two thirds of our breakfasts were provided by Julie, who was so nice. We enjoyed chatting with her about the local area. The food was good and set us up for our busy days. We met Kim in housekeeping one day when we stopped by midafternoon. Our room was always spotless and looked as if we had only just arrived. The staff at the front desk were helpful and accommodating. One gentleman even arranged to have housekeeping launder a few shirts for...

“Lovely place to stay, convenient for town and for visiting Dorsey County Hospital which was my main reason for visiting Dorchester.”

“The room was clean, shower over the bath, but could be a problem to older guests encluding my wife. Placed my towel on the edge of the bath but it was not replaced, but we were told it had to be in the bath. At breakfast we were served with an overcooked fried egg on our first morning, the next morning we had a very greasy and hard fried egg with black bits on and the mushrooms were cold.”

“Lovely hotel in an ideal spot for walks along the Dorset coast”

“Interesting old pub in historic Cerne Abbas. Restaurant and bar are excellent. Food is prepared well and served hot! Our room was tiny. It had an old bed with an uncomfortable mattress that should be replaced. Pillows were not great. Heating was on a timer, so it was cold when we arrived and came on when at dinner. Heating was not operating in the morning.”

“The agree to give us a late check out, and when we arrive the have taken all our things and put them in a store, and a simple sorry, mistake was made! Terrible service ”

“A beautiful and amazing place, the service of the owners excellent, it was a shame that we only could spend a day over here.”

“Comfortable overnighter with a child and young puppy in tow. The staff were so welcoming & accommodating, the puppy treated like a VIP, the room tastefully decorated and absolutely spotless. It was a short, comfortable stay to break up a long journey. And breakfast was absolutely fantastic.”

“Our Stay at The Mason's Arms was very pleasant room was lovely and clean, just one small detail bath floor matt would have been nice 👍 the Staff in the bar were very helpful and the food was excellent. Thank you”

“Todo genial aunque nuestra habitación era muy calurosa a pesar de los ventiladores.”

“It was in the centre of town and parking was very close to the lodge.”
