“Lovely hotel with views over the river. Room was well presented, clean and comfortable. Food at the hotel was good and all the staff we met were friendly and well organised. Special mention to the breakfast team who were all lovely and made us feel well looked after. ”

“This is a very old building … 400-500 years old so bound to be some creaky floorboards etc…. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating regarding our early check in … breakfast was just lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay ”

“Staff was very welcoming and helpful. our rooms were clean and I was happy with the iron, ironing board and hair dryer in the room. breakfast was great but as my partner was vegetarian he only had hash browns and beans it would be nice to have veggie sausages. we decided to eat in on our last night but was disappointed in the meal as the nan bread was rock hard and the curry was very bland with less curry and more of the boiled rice missing out the mango chutney will not be eating dinner again”

“Didnt like that he had paid for breakfast but theHotel had no record of this and we had to pay 80 pounds.. so now we have to go thru the nuisance taskbof trying to get a refund. ”

“Lots of healthy or hearty options for breakfast .staff wonderful. Gardens were lovely if only it was summer. Paying car park next to hotel. Plenty of dining places. Rooms were stylish. Definitely a womans touch and thought had gone into the rooms”
