“3 night stay over Easter. Pub was clean and comfortable although bed mattress was very firm which meant disturbed sleep for stay. Owners very welcoming. Breakfast was 8-9am which I felt was a little early as we usually like to have a lazy wake up without having to have alarm on so wasnt as relaxing as we would have liked. Breakfast was good but simple so would not have wanted to stay any longer. 1 or 2 nights at the most. No fruit or alternatives and not asked if we preferred eggs cooked...

“I really enjoyed my stay here. Its perfect if you are working away etc. Spacious accommodation with a nice shower and you can park right outside your chalet. I had a great night's sleep. No complaints”

“Big, quiet room, good bed, towels, and breakfast. Parking is confusing. All-day vouchers for the street parking seemed to be available but it also seemed easier to just Pay by Phone. The location is excellent, so it’s understandable that there’s no parking provided directly by the hotel and the daily cost is minimal. The sister hotel is the Crescent Hotel (famous location), which is owned by the same company, and we were ‘upgraded’ there for dinner, which was a pleasant surprise.”

“Hotel is very dated but the bed and room were clean. Tv didn’t work but reported on checking out. You get what you pay for and the rooms were cheap so I couldn’t have any complaints. Just used it for a base for Alton towers”
