This was my first solo trip on my birthday, and the staff were very helpful and kind, and the room was wonderfully cosy. I would highly recommend anyone going, and I will be returning again soon. The hotel is literally in the heart of Bakewell and close to Chatsworth House. Parking: I would recommend going to the bridge car park nearby, as it has overnight parking and reasonable priced.

Lovely hotel, fantastic location. Well decorated, comfy twin room but disappointingly, in the annex. Not in the main hotel. IMO, on the expensive side. £500 2 x nights, especially as it was 'room only'. Also, hardly any parking on site. Forced to park in public car park.My fault. Should have paid more attention when booking.
