“Staff were very friendly and helpful. The property was a little tired. A big car park for about 14 cars was a big plus. The road system is a little complicated and busy, so advanced planning how to access the car park is recommended. The full English Breakfast was provided bang on time and was adequate. I would suggest that they introduce cornflakes, marmalade and any fresh fruit or yoghurts. We also had to ask for second cups of coffee/tea.”

“Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good. If a client is using derogatory foul audible language aimed at women in the bar area they should be asked to stop by the manager/bar tender - it’s not pleasant to be subjected to this if you’re sitting quietly trying to enjoy your own drink . It would be great value & a positive accolade for a simple continental breakfast to be included in the nightly rate instead of...

Bed very comfortable & the small double room I had was perfect just for me. Food in the restaurant was delicious & there was a good choice. Breakfast plentiful, well presented & hearty. “We were booked to stay for 3 days the staff were polite and friendly but our experience wasn't great to be honest the place looks tired and rundown they shut the bar early the 1st night we arrived due to lack of customers we were told ....we also had no idea it was being used for accommodating people who looked like asylum seekers ...there were possessions stacked outside the stairs to our accomodation and people loading vans for most of the time we stayed including in the middle of the night...
