“Arrived and were able to check in an hour earlier, we were shown to our room, and windows had been opened to allow the heat to escape. Amazing views. Room very clean and everything you need, water great selection of teas and coffees, and more importantly a fan. Great quirky pub to enjoy a drink and meal. Very friendly staff and other guests and locals very friendly. Great puppy cuddles with Angus a huge bonus. Would definitely stay again.”

“En general bien pero tuve el problema que de la regadera no salía el agua caliente! Solo de la tina así que imagínense el relajo para bañarse, el hotel limpio y lindo junto a un río aunque algo alejado de la zona de más interés. Tienes que tomar taxi a fuerza. El desayuno es lo mejor, delicioso y preparado por una señora lindisima y que cocina delicioso”

“We had a lovely stay at the Royal Oak. Hannah was extremely helpful and was quick to respond when i accidentally deleted the message with the keycode! The room was extremely comfortable and clean. We had a superb meal in the pub, and the staff were very friendly. The room was peaceful and quiet, and we enjoyed the views and a glorious sunset. “We really enjoyed our stay at the Star Inn. The hospitality staff were beyond hospitable-Very attentive to us. We could have used a fan as it was warm but other than that very comfortable beds and clean rooms. The dinner menu of Greek food is very nice and of all the full English breakfasts we had on our Cotswold tour this was stood out to us and the absolute best one. There’s a lovely outdoor area for drinks or nibbles and a wonderful crowd of friendly locals. We loved it!”
