“Clean, great rooms, friendly staff, well organized.”

“Having arrived late and leaving early. I have to say the staff were welcoming and helpful upon arrival. A few little things to note. Breakfast doesn't start until 8am, not helpful if your need to start your day any earlier. Staying in room five (stables area). I found the room a little dated (older TV) but the plumbing noise from every time my neighbours washed their hands was very evident. It settled down once everyone went to bed for the evening. “From check in to check out the staff were so helpful. Can fault anything.”

“The owners and staff were very accommodating, helpful and friendly which made our stay a lovely experience, nothing was too much trouble.”

“Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery! The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden.”

“Wasn’t aware we had to check in by a certain time. An email was sent half an hour beforehand considering the location and reason we were visiting the area this could easily have been missed”

“The host was very helpful. She was very flexible in allowing us to pick up the keys early on the day of our check in. Despite there being a storm the weekend we stayed, the room was fantastic, lovely breakfast in the morning, and stunning views. If in the area, would definitely look to book again. Thanks.”

“Location was perfect. So peaceful and relaxing. Property was a little dated, but very clean. Lovely extra touches with bread, milk, eggs waiting for us .”

“Nice room and big but dated bathroom. Great breakfast. Enjoyed our short stay.”

“We did not even get to the bedroom. The noise level was so high the barman could not hear us. The area was dirty.”
