“After staying in Berlin and Potsdam, this was a really nice, relaxing break. It has a great B&B kind of vibe with a quiet outdoor dining area, lots of shade and easy parking. The room was perfect, with air conditioning and lots of nice amenities like a little help-yourself fridge with beers, snacks and soft drinks. Everything was clean and comfortable. “Great location in a building dating back to the 15th Century, but impeccably maintained. Rather steep curved castle stairs, but the manager was very helpful in carrying our luggage. Breakfast was excellent as was service all around. Sherry was waiting in a decanter in the room. When a taxi was delayed picking us up at the train station, the manager (owner?) drove down, himself. First rate service all the way around. Highly recommended.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The hotel was nice, the breakfast was tasty, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that our room was located above the pub. When we opened the window, we could smell cigarette smoke, which was unpleasant. Apart from that, we had a pleasant stay and would be happy to recommend the hotel.”

“The ‘business’ room was well decorated and had an abundance of kitchen implements. The main bed was clean and comfy but the sofa bed was not. Beware very low (1.7m?) doorways into the apartment itself and into the bathroom. And the city view is of the patio table and fence. Parking was fine, the walk into the old city about 10 minutes.”
