“The Royal Oak Inn is situated in a lovely area. It was easy for us to park. On arrival which was somewhat late, there was no one to look after us. I got the attention of someone in the kitchen who alerted the manager. We were given our room key and on arrival in the room I noticed that there was quite a bit of hair in the sink and some in the bathtub as well. I mentioned it to the manager and when we returned to our room after dinner, which was delicious, the hair in the sink was gone. The...

“The room was clean and well stocked with towels, pillows, toiletries and tea and coffee. Beautiful view out to sea. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, beautifully presented.”

“The Rock Inn is a beautiful, old pub, set in the stunning Somerset countryside. The huge trees surrounding the pub offered fantastic shade during the recent heat wave, keeping my room pleasantly cool. Housekeeping during my stay was not great, but, as the cost of my four night stay was so cosy effective, willing to overlook, but, would have appreciated the bin being emptied at least every other day, a fresh towel every other day & complimentary tea & long life milk being topped up.
