You have to remember it’s a 14th century Inn and comfort is going to be a little tricky. If your 5 foot tall it would help but being over 6 feet was a mission to get to the bedroom. Staffings is a little laid back but the location is excellent by the quayside . Unfortunately, didn’t have a view at all so would recommend you book one. Breakfast is to order and very good

The hotel was particularly quaint and uncommercial yet had everything that we needed. The food was excellent, however, there was no option for gluten free cereal which was a shame but there were plenty of other options available.

Excellent friendly service, our room was brilliant, views of the harbour so close to our bedroom window ! Excellent restaurant, menu was diverse and the food well cooked and presented.
