“Great location next to the yacht haven, with nice restaurants nearby. Don’t be tempted to park next to hotel to load/unload though. I did for 10 mins and picked up a £60 fine. The hotel has its own car park a little further down the road.”

The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. They had gone to a lot of effort to supply breakfast items in the shared kitchen and it was obviously visited each day by a host as it was tidied and rubbish cleared but some cupboards had random packets and crumbs,the salt and pepper pots were dirty and sticky. “The service was great, though my suggestion is that it is difficult to pair with an extended stay when you booked a short stay. The long-stay owners were extremely loud on the last day. Overall, a three-star from me, just because the service was good.”

“The room and bathroom were lovely, very clean and luxurious. The rooms don't have aircon but fans were provided and even on a warm weekend, it was actually OK. The grounds are beautifully kept with plenty of places to walk. The buffet breakfast was included in our booking and again was very tasty and had a great selection. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and welcoming and gave us some great advice on where to go. We only had breakfast in the restaurant so can't comment on dinner but it...
