This place (the "Mountain Haven" unit) is Adorable! The entire campground is lovely and peaceful. We will definitely return, as we had a wonderful time. This unit is next to a lake; a short little walk from a running river. It's a beautiful place to walk around. There's a hot tub which we enjoyed both nights; we used the outdoor grill for cooking steaks (from the nearby English Cattle Company - local "farm to table" beef) and sweet potatoes; there's a fully stocked kitchen and a very comfortable bed. All the units are pet friendly, so we will bring our dog next time. We got to spend some time visiting with the owner/mgr of the place; Shane was more than accommodating and friendly. Don't miss out! The property was perfect. Tucked right off 221, the property is quiet and clean. The cabin itself was exactly what you'd want in a cabin. Clean, fully stocked kitchen so you can cook there, grill tools, dishwasher tabs, laundry soap anf peraonal essentials. Shane lives on the property and checks in with you to emsure you have evwrything you need for a great stay. We will definitely be back.

I spend 3 days with my family in the cabins. There is a beautiful river that cross the property as well. It was so much fun if you like the outdoors and like to get down with just exploring. 💯 coming back.

Linville River Cabins are on a beautiful piece of land right next to the river. It is quiet and peaceful sitting on the porch, listening to the river and birds. Cottages are clean and cozy. I would stay here again.

Beautiful site. A great get away. Lots to do in the area. One could easily spend a week or more doing various activities as well as visiting the local businesses and being surrounded by all the natural beauty. There is a winery and a bakery nearby. The cabins are unique well built and very comfortable. You can really enjoy the natural setting right by the river. The host is great! He is very accommodating and accessible and knows you didn’t come there to see him. We will be back again but for a longer stay next time.

Small but nicely decorated, with an outdoor whirlpool, and a small river view. Peaceful place, very close to interesting attractions, such as Linville waterfalls and caverns, and a beautiful winery open to visitors. Staff friendly and instrumental when asked any questions.

Beautiful Getaway

Beautiful place by the river. Great for fishing! Cabins are cute and clean. The owners, Jennifer and Shane, are very kind and attentive. We enjoyed our stay very much! We will be back for sure!
