B&B en Bishops Lydeard

“The owner was very friendly and the property was an interesting old building. However, our room was a bit out-dated and the shower unit was a bit mouldy. Also, breakfast was a bit disappointing with powdered scambled eggs and tinned tomatoes.”

“Cosy traditional b&b room above the pub itself, surprisingly quiet (never heard a sound) even though the pub below is a very popular place and full every night. Nice breakfast, good evening meal, can’t fault the place. Patrick and the locals were very friendly, we happily chatted amongst them all evening on both nights we stayed. All in all a very good time, would we stay again? Absolutely no problem at all.”

“Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun.”

“So clean, our room was immaculate so were all the other areas of the hotel. Really lovely stay, fabulous breakfast and dinner!”

“The warm welcome and friendly atmosphere made us feel relaxed from the start. The food was perfect. We would recommend this very nice guest house.”

“Wonderful, friendly, local on a lovely street. Some great scenery and local walks. Pub next door. Great traditional B&B. James and Jane are very caring and want your stay the best it can be.”

“On arrival the reception was awful with staff unable to access records but their attitude was very off hand towards us. The room was clean but badly set up. “Street is missing a trick. The town is crying out for a great, modern hotel with the facilities to challenge what is currently available - it would be an absolute winner. I chose Mullions simply because of the limited options for overnight stays in the area. Unfortunately, the room itself was incredibly tired. I was met with broken furniture, dusty bedside surfaces and lamps, and a distinct smell of damp in the bathroom. Worse still, while the towels appeared clean, they carried a noticeable...
