“Hotel was lovely and even though we were warned and expected noise on a Sat night in December, we didn’t expect to be quite as loud as it was! We were directly above the Xmas disco room and the windows in our room were actually vibrating. On the up side they did finish promptly at midnight. Just be aware it’s not just background noise but very loud. Need more staff on at breakfast time to keep tables cleared and food stocked up. ”

You soon will get to know everyone’s name a they will remember yours; it’s the little things that set a small country Inn apart from the bigger and soulless enterprises. “Perfect stay at the George. Beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming with very attentive staff. Our room was spacious and very comfortable and although it was at the front the traffic was not a problem. We had both breakfast and dinner for two nights and were not disappointed, plenty of choice and all beautifully cooked. All in all an excellent stay at a reasonable price. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.”
